HTKP Alumni Game
The 2012 Alumni game was cancelled due to a lack of interests, we are looking to revive the Alumni game in 2013 but need volunteers to make it happen. If you are an alumni and would like to get involved please contact Jamie for more details, duties will include contacting retired players to fill out team rosters.
History of the Alumni Game
As part of the League's 25th anniversary celebration in 2010, the Help the Kids Play program hosted a fun game for all League alumni and some of our players that have been in the League for many years.
The end result was Team Bucky narrowly defeating Team Blewett 6-4 in a 3-inning, back-and-forth battle. While this was a fun game, the competitive juices were flowing and both benchs clearly wanted to leave the field with bragging rights.
The game was one of the weekend highlights with all of the alumni saying what a great time they had. The game was such a success that it will be made into an annual event during the HTKP tournament.
